Back to trying to catch up…we spent some time at City Park on our last full day in New Orleans. It was a great spot to spend a nice, sunny afternoon.
Our last morning in the city, we walked to a place called La Boulangerie. Our last breakfast in New Orleans was of course, delicious. We didn’t have a single disappointing meal in the Big Easy. Needless to say, we’re looking forward to visiting again.

On our way to Georgia, we stopped at the National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Alabama. Unfortunately, we got there pretty late in the afternoon as the memorial center was about to close. We did walk around the gardens for a bit before getting back on the road.
We stopped for a night in Columbus to visit a friend, where nothing noteworthy happened aside from drinking some beer and playing darts. The next morning, we stopped in Atlanta for lunch with another friend. We had barbecue at a great spot recommended by our friend, called City Barbecue.
To avoid Atlanta afternoon traffic, we stopped a nice, small park for a little bit before getting back on the road.
Nothing noteworthy happened on the rest of the trip back home but we did arrive in time to enjoy our spring blooms.
Anyways, to sum it up, the trip was great overall. We loved New Orleans in particular and can’t wait to visit again. Thanks for reading. More to come soon on other recent trips and updates from Taco Potato Mustang garage.
